The presenters will begin by discussing delivery characteristics and factors that can detract from the effectiveness of exposure therapy, including clinician reservations about exposure therapy and the potential impact of one’s own perfectionistic tendencies. Strategies aimed at enhancing the clinician’s delivery of exposure therapy will then be described, including emotional appeals and attitude inoculation.
